HUG Hearts Foundation Animal Rescue was formed in memory of the Executive Director's own Mother who lost her life in a car accident turning the wheel to avoid hitting an animal in the middle of the road.   H.U.G. stands for Heeling Unleashed Giants, but we would never say "No" to saving the life of a small little giant, for they are in need of Rescue and Rehab as well as the big ones. Often we find the broken ones, the "underdogs", are excellent candidates for special needs humans, cancer survivors, and victims of abuse/neglect, similar to those we save. We provide all vet care and basic rehab/training.
