Heya aims to increase the voice and agency of adolescent girls and boys living in disadvantaged communities. Our flagship self-development program corrects misconceptions, strengthens self-image, and boosts self-esteem and confidence. In addition, Heya provides training programs for parents, teachers, and employees to create a safer and healthier environment for Egypt’s younger generation. 

Heya works to undo the harm done to children by developing their character by delivering tools and skills-based programs that enable them to protect themselves from physical and psychological harm, restore their dignity and self-worth, and end the generational cycle of trauma and abuse.

In addition, our parenting program stems from our belief that when parents understand the importance of gender equality, nutrition, early child marriage, and the dangers of bullying & sexual harassment, they are empowered to invest in their children's education, positively impacting their future for generations to come. We pride ourselves on the comprehensiveness of our programs; they are impactful and measured through years of continuous improvement. Participants see improvements in knowledge, attitude, practices, and behavior.
