Georgia Heartland Humane Society, Inc. (GHHS) is a 501(c)(3) no‑kill animal rescue founded in 1995 on the belief that all life is sacred and that every animal deserves a safe, pain‑free, and compassionate existence. We do not operate a physical shelter; instead, we serve our community through foster‑based rescue, spay/neuter assistance, and owner support programs. GHHS receives no government funding and relies entirely on public generosity, community partnerships, and local fundraising efforts.

Our volunteers are deeply committed to ensuring that every pet has the opportunity to live in a loving home. Through targeted spay/neuter initiatives, responsible pet‑owner assistance, and community education, we work to reduce pet overpopulation and prevent suffering before it begins. Many of the animals we serve would not survive without intervention. We provide safety, medical care, and compassion to pets who have never known comfort or kindness—giving them a second chance at life and love.
