When we started Heroes with Ability five years ago, we did it with one thing in mind, to give people living with disability, the opportunity to play sport. We thought that we could teach new skills, lessons, and experiences to people who have never been given the chance. Five years later, we have been taught by these heroes, more than we could ever teach them. Each day, we have learnt from these heroes. HWA provides an interactive & stimulating events & programs that focus on both mental and physical health/wellbeing, we cater for all ages ,all genders, all cultures and all abilities. Our programs are modified to suit primary schools, high schools and post schools adults with disabilities. 

We want to help remove social barriers for all people in Australia with disability, so they can reach their full potential.

We aim is to inspire, teach, motivate & incorporate all aspects of health/wellbeing, by strengthening social skills & raising community awareness.

Through life experience,we live & breathe varying abilities eachday as our son Marco junior has both a physical/moderate intellectual disability.Being Marcos parents means,we can relate,to challenges that people with disabilities face through hands on experience and we apply this life experiences to the program.

Our business partner George was born with Cerebal Palsley.He uses his own experience as a catalyst for positive action by creating opportunities for others living with disability as he understands the challenges a person with a disability faces.

Heroes with ability is a registered charity with ACNC.
