Canberra PCYC was established in 1957 providing support to disadvantaged young people and families across the ACT Regional area. The programs provide intensive support to young people and families. Our goal is to ensure all young people achieve their dreams for a safe, positive future. Our work includes, Youth at risk of or who have entered the youth justice system, Trauma recovery, disability support services, Family intensive case management, supporting young people and families who have a wide range of issues including domestic and family violence, drug and alcohol, mental health, homelessness, financial issues and more. We also run social enterprise cafes putting young people through hospitality and barista certificate course for a pathway to employment. Our intensive support programs have seen a 94% reduction in recidivism for young people attended our 20week daily programs.
