Helping the Aging, Needy and Disabled, Inc. operates under the dba of Meals on Wheels Central Texas-In Home Care (IHC). While we are a separate 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization we are a division of Meals on Wheels Central Texas.  This month marks our 50th anniversary providing in-home care services for older adults and individuals who are living with disabilities in Central Texas.

Our mission is: Delivering care that empowers our neighbors by promoting dignity and independence. IHC provides a comprehensive range of services, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) like meal prep assistance, bathing and dressing, light housekeeping, respite care, emotional support and companionship, and connections to community resources. One of our primary goals is to address the barriers--such as financial challenges--that often prevent older adults and individuals with disabilities from accessing the care they need.
