Helping Hearts Equine Rescue has been assisting at-risk and in-need equines since our incorporation January, 2008. In this time over 300 equines have entered our program. Many, Many have been placed in new homes and just as many have found final, safe, and loving placement at our facility to live out their remaining time – whether it be days, months or years. HHER has always taken in the “hard to place” less adoptable equines, those that don’t fit the modern business model of rescue. Currently, our barns and hearts are full of extremely senior and special needs horses, mules and donkeys. We would not have been able to help and care for these hundreds of animals without the support and love of the members of our community. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Virtually every dollar donated goes directly towards the animals in our care. Together we make lives whole. Replacing fear, suffering and starvation with peace, love and security is a special gift for both us and Them. TOGETHER we make this happen.
