Heavenly Pet Sanctuary is a no-kill shelter for companion animals in need. We rescue and protect dogs and cats, kittens and puppies of all ages and give them the necessary care and medical attention they need to be healthy and eventually eligible for adoption into a new home. We currently house over 75 cats and dogs in several buildings on 34 acres. Our dogs and cats have access to large outdoor fenced areas where they can enjoy the natural environment, so vital for their well-being.

We are a long-term care sanctuary, which means that any animal brought to the shelter, whether of not suitable for adoption, will be housed and taken care of for its entire life. We have feral cats, senior cats, animals with behavioral issues and chronic illness which prevents them from being readily adopted. 

We also have a cageless environment for our cats which gives them a home-like environment without restrictions and are housed according to temperment and compatibility.  

Operating a shelter under these circumstances where many animals are continually housed creates much more added expense as healthcare, food and cleaning has to be maintained over a longer period of time. This is the meaning of a sanctuary and our environment is a true refuge for animals in need of peace and healing.
