About us
Animal Rescue Kare's volunteers work hard to improve animal welfare in Hart County, KY. Our volunteers have managed a successful spay-neuter voucher program, TNR program, foster program, and educational outreach. We also provide support to the Hart County Animal Shelter. The county government operates and funds the shelter (HCAS), which handles dogs only.
