At Heart Strings For Horses we take in orphan foals, match them with a surrogate mare, then gentle & train them and find adoptive, forever homes where they will be loved. Most of the orphan foals we rescue are part of herd management on the Yakima Reservation where wild horses have become overpopulated. We save these very young foals and give them the opportunity to grow up and be loved.
