Headway Birmingham & Solihull helps improve life for people impacted by brain injury. It offers social rehabilitation sessions from its three Birmingham-based brain injury hubs plus one-to-one support at home and out in the community for those with an acquired brain injury (caused by a traumatic blow to the head such as RTC, fall, assault, sporting injury or a medical condition such as a stoke, tumour, haemorrhage, infection etc). Headway also offers information and emotional support to the wider family whose lives are also turned upside down when a loved one sustains a serious brain injury. Our specialist services help those affected come to terms with what has happened and start moving forward to live the best life possible. We are the only organisation offering these vital services in the local area and are frequently described as 'a lifeline' by our service users.
