The Scottish Dark Sky Observatory (SDSO) aims to enthuse and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the wonders to be found in the night sky.  Located on the northern edge of the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park (the first International Dark-Sky Association designated 'gold tier' Dark Sky Park in Europe) near Loch Doon, the SDSO is perfectly located to take advantage of some of the darkest skies in the world.
