HavaHeart Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based organization dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at life, especially those who have never truly had one.

Many of the dogs we rescue come from situations where they were treated as commodities, not companions. Used for breeding, neglected, or discarded when no longer “useful,” these dogs often arrive fearful, matted, medically neglected, and unsure of the world around them.

We are working to break that cycle.

Through compassionate rescue, medical care, and patient foster homes, we help dogs transition from survival to safety — and ultimately, to love. Whether they come from difficult breeding situations, overcrowded environments, or other urgent circumstances, every dog we take in is given the opportunity to heal, both physically and emotionally.

At the same time, we support overwhelmed shelters and step in when resources are stretched beyond capacity, ensuring more dogs have a path out and a future ahead.

Because we are entirely foster-based, our dogs don’t wait in kennels — they decompress in homes, learn trust, and begin to understand what it means to be part of a family.

In 2025 alone, we helped over 600 dogs find loving homes.
