GAIN is a not-for profit organisation run by volunteers who dedicate their time to creating a world where every woman has the opportunity, knowledge, confidence & support to obtain optimal gynaecological & sexual health. GAIN Inc. is an ACNC registered organisation. Our vision is to engage and involve the community by advocating for the promotion of gynaecological and sexual health; Bridge the gap between the health professionals and the community; Empower women to be actively and confidently involved in their gynaecological and sexual healthcare; Work to reduce the stigma associated with gynaecological health and associated conditions. Our committee members organise educational forums for the public as well as health care providers. In collaboration with renowned medical professionals and the Cancer Council of Australia we also conduct educational talks at various work places. Usually around Women's Health Week in September of each year. Donations go towards the costs of organising such events throughout the year. We recently were instrumental in a campaign to raise funds for the implementation of a High Schools Pelvic Pain & Endometriosis Program . Successfuly delivered by the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia. The program has now been installed into West Australian HIgh Schools from February 2021.
