Give Write is a Western Australian charity dedicated to giving every child the opportunity to thrive at school by providing access to essential school supplies. We collect and repurpose new and gently used stationery, turning it into Student Packs and stocking our year-round Student Supplies Store—resources that are offered free to school staff supporting disadvantaged children.

With one in six WA children living below the poverty line, many students walk into classrooms without the basic tools needed to learn. This creates a silent barrier to education, fuelling feelings of embarrassment, exclusion, and school avoidance. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure no child is held back by their circumstances.

In FY25, Give Write supported over 17,000 children and diverted 50 cubic metres of school supplies from landfill. But the need is growing—and so is our resolve.
