Continuing Makenzie’s legacy of love, Friendz of Kenz was created to support children with different abilities by paying for medical equipment, supplies, medications, etc. that insurance does not pay for. Our mission is to lighten the financial burden on families while improving the quality of life for their child age 18 and under. Improving the quality of life also encourages the bonding of family relationships through time spent together. Our goal is to never have to turn a family away due to the lack of funding and we are only able to do that through our supporters. Our application for assistance is a simple contact form also lessening the burden on the one making the request and we never ask for financial information. FOK is 100% community supported and every penny of money raised has funded the 550+ children we have assisted in the past 10 years and many, many years to come. What an honor and blessing for us to play a small part in these children’s and families lives.
