We are a community Food Pantry serving a population of 140,000 people. We provide emergency food assistance to families and individuals and work with them to help them regain their self sufficiency. In an effort to keep our overhead as small as possible, we have only 2 full time and one part time employees and rely on volunteer service to help us in our mission of providing hunger relief. Last year we distributed 1.8 million pounds of food to those in need in our community. The favorite part of our job is when the client turns in their card and tells us they no longer need our assistance as they have been able to get back on their feet thanks to our assistance!
