FWMA is a wildlife center dedicated to the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife in the Florida Panhandle. We take care of 1200 to 1500 wildlife patients each year and do education outreach programs in our local community free of charge. We also work with students and people needing community service hours so they have an opportunity to complete their hours in a safe environment while learning more about nature and our wild neighbors. We receive no county, state, or federal funding and have survived for 29 years on donations and fundraisers. Every grant or donation goes directly towards animal care and keeping the center open.
