Escabags provides free ‘Escape Bags’ filled with essential items to families and individuals fleeing domestic and family abuse across Australia, Since 2020 we have distributed over 10k single adult & parent/child bags.  By displaying an eye-catching poster and being listed on our website, stockists can provide a practical solution whilst raising awareness within the local community. As well as providing a practical solution it is our hope that having access to an Escape Bag may alleviate the need to re-enter the family home to collect essential items when fleeing . Statistics show this can be the most dangerous time, when a perpetrator knows he/she has lost control it can cause irrational and violent behaviour.Our objectives are:Safety of the individual or family fleeing domestic and family abuse. Providing an empathic, practical, tangible solution for the individual/family whilst they are seeking further support. Raising awareness of domestic and family abuse within our communities. Our stockists display posters showing our bags are available and provide a safe space for a recipient to request an Escape Bag.
