Elijah’s Heart exists to assist underserved children and their families with a primary focus on hunger relief, practical needs, education, and creative arts. Founded by Papa Joe and Denise Bradford in Nashville, we are dedicated to raising awareness about the struggles these families face and inspiring others to act.

The call is urgent. Across America, countless children and families suffer under the weight of poverty, hunger, limited education, and daily hardships—often unnoticed and forgotten. Elijah’s Heart answers that call by showing mercy and practical love through our signature programs.

Every Saturday at 10:45 a.m., our Fresh Market provides free groceries to families living in a food desert—a community without access to fresh food or grocery stores. Our Walk of Love Prdelivers food and hygiene supplies door to door, reaching those who can’t come to us. These vital outreaches happen as generous donors provide resources, including trucks through partners like Feed the Children.

Alongside hunger relief, we nurture children’s minds and hearts through literacy, music, and arts programs, empowering hope for a better future.
