Egypt Equine Aid is a registered charity providing free veterinary care to working horses, donkeys, mules and camels in Egypt.

From our equine hospital in Giza, our veterinary team treats animals suffering from injury, illness, neglect and the effects of demanding working conditions. We provide emergency treatment, surgery, inpatient care and rehabilitation, as well as running a free mobile clinic to reach working animals in the pyramid area.

Alongside treating animals in immediate need, we work to create lasting change through education and veterinary training, improving knowledge and standards of equine care in Egypt.

No animal is ever turned away because an owner cannot afford treatment, and animals that are surrendered or abandoned and unable to return to work are given lifelong sanctuary and care.
