Lucy's UK Donkey Foundation is a small charity who raises funds in the UK that are used to run mobile veterinary clinics to help the hard working donkeys, mules and horses in Israel and the West Bank and to maintain a sanctuary for sick, abused and abandoned donkeys in need of treatment, protection and a safe home by supporting the charitable work undertaken by British founder Lucy Fensom in the Holy Land. We are faced with big challenges operating in a war-torn country where prices have risen significantly and people's attitude to animals in general, and donkeys in particular, are very poor. We are registered with the UK Charity Commission (No. 1174959).
