At the very coal face of cat rescue, out and about trapping and helping cats who have been abandoned by society. Many of them living in horrendous conditions, fighting for food, and constantly breeding, leaving them sick and in poor health.

We help both feral and friendly cats, and find many cats thrown out, aren't wild or feral - they are dumped, and have become scared of humans - who could blame them. We find them with terrible wounds, many with cat flu and infections.

A small group of volunteers, founded by a lovely lady called Joanne, Save a Stray helps save the lives of over 150 cats every year, and nearly always has 50 in their care. Helped by a small group of amazing volunteers and foster homes, they bring these cats back to good health (most of the time). Sometimes, they are too ill to be saved, but we never stop trying.

Vet bills are always very high, as is the cost of food but we don't turn cats away for the want of trying.
