About us
Founded in 1975, DAS is a volunteer-led organisation and a valued partner of the Imperial War Museum. We own and care for The British Airliner Collection, a unique assembly of iconic civil aircraft, which we regularly open to the public.
As a registered charity, our work is funded by visitor income, donations, fundraising activities, and services provided to the Museum. We always welcome new members who share our passion for aviation heritage.
