Dogs Friends (Charity number: 1129794) is a small rescue based in the heart of Somerset in the South West of England. Our passion is for helping dogs and owners in need.

Dogs Friends is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers who are totally committed and relentlessly busy. Almost all our dogs are in individual foster care in Somerset and the surrounding areas, as we prefer them to live in a domestic setting as much as possible. We help a wide range of dogs every year and strive to be as flexible as possible with our adoption criteria, each dog’s individual needs are at the heart of what we do.

We are always desperately in need of funds. Unfortunately, many of the dogs who find themselves in our care require urgent medical care and incur very high vet bills. The donations we receive for adoptions rarely cover the expenses we incur for each dog.
