Diabetes SA is the peak organisation representing people living with and at risk of diabetes in South Australia. For 70 years, we have provided support, education, advocacy, and funding for diabetes research to the Australian community.The four core pillars of our work are Prevention, Detections, Management and Research.Our work covers all types of diabetes as well as programs for people at risk of the condition, with a focus on our most vulnerable communities across South Australia. As diabetes continues to be one of Australia’s greatest health challenges and South Australia is leading the nation with the highest rates of diabetes per capita.
