Crossroads of Caring is a center for spiritual care formation and education serving the greater Rochester community by offering programs in education and collegial support to spiritual caregivers. We believe that spirituality is essential to holistic health and we train people to be part of a skilled spiritual care workforce serving in hospitals, nursing facilities, hospices, faith/spiritual communities and other community settings. Our students help folks traverse difficult life situations through reflective listening, exploring existential questions, helping to find meaning and direction, and exploring spiritual values and beliefs. We meet people where they are to help them tackle small bumps before they become debilitating mountains of grief, hurt, loneliness, helplessness or despair.
