Community School of West Seattle is a small preschool with goals to make children’s first school experience joyful and relevant through play, creativity, and exploration, to provide meaningful compensation for our staff, to keep our tuition/fees affordable and accessible for our families so that finances are not a barrier to accessing the benefits of play-based early childhood education. This means, we cannot rely on tuition alone to keep fund our program. We work tirelessly to secure grant and donor funding throughout the year in order to do the work we value so highly.
