Centre Wildlife Care (CWC ) is a 501c3, a non-profit, tax-exempt, licensed organization dedicated to caring for injured, orphaned, sick and displaced wildlife to release them back into the wild. Professional care is provided to over 2000 mammals, birds and reptiles per year. Wild animals are accepted from Centre County and surrounding counties, other areas of the state of PA, and other rehabilitators. CWC also provides educational programs with live animals to the public. CWC is an all-volunteer organization, funded only by donations and receives NO funding from local, state or federal agencies.  

     Wildlife Rehabilitation is the process of caring for orphaned, injured, sick or displaced wild animals until they can be returned to the wild. Their injuries are usually a result of human influence in some way (e.g., hit by a car, construction, landscaping, cat/dog caught, shot, poisoned, etc.)

CWC is planning to build and expand to accommodate the growing need in Central PA.  We have outgrown our current space and CWC are the only licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility in central PA.  Please make a donation to help with our expansion plan.
