Assistance League Norman is an all volunteer organization that transforms the lives of children and families in our community. We are one of 120 chapters nationwide. Our chapter serves our community through 5 programs. Operation School Bell is our premier program. We bring in children in grades K-12 from the Norman and Little Axe Public School districts. We give each child new clothing that includes the following: 2 pants, 3 shirts, 5 pair of socks and underwear, 1 coat, a grooming kit, a new book and a stuffed animal. We have partnered with JC Penney and provide a $50 shoe voucher to be used towards a new pair of shoes. These children are chosen by their school counselor or teacher and often qualify for a free or reduced lunch program. We have 4 other programs: Bears for Children, Seniors R&R, Care Kits, Book of My Own. Each program provides various services for children, families and seniors in our local community.
