CEEALAR removes financial barriers for young people who want to tackle humanity's biggest problems but lack the resources to do so. We provide subsidized accommodation (often completely free) at our residential hub in Blackpool, UK, supporting 18-20 grantees at a time for periods ranging from weeks to a full year.

Our residents are talented individuals transitioning into high-impact careers - developing skills in areas like artificial intelligence safety, global health, climate solutions, and poverty reduction. They come to us to conduct research, launch new organizations, learn new skills, or explore how to maximize their positive impact on the world.

Many arrive without clear career paths but with strong motivation to help others. By providing accommodation, meals, and a collaborative community, we enable them to pursue ambitious projects and career transitions they couldn't otherwise afford. Our grantees have gone on to establish influential organizations, secure major research positions, and advance critical work in technology policy, pandemic prevention, and other vital areas.
