The Wokingham Volunteer Centre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO No. 1161498) established to provide support to vulnerable elderly and disabled people within the Wokingham Borough area, in particular by the provision of basic, volunteer-based and subsidised, low-cost services. Where we can't help, we direct them to additional statutory and voluntary sources of help to enable them to continue living in their own homes for longer and not require moving into care. We also support other local charities by promoting volunteering and provide a brokerage service to match volunteers with appropriate roles.
