Parent Community Sports Trust
About us
The Parent Community Sports Trust (PCST) is a charity based in Glasgow. We promote healthy living and the strengthening of communities through sport.
Football has always been our big thing, from Mini Kickers at 3 years old to Women’s 5-a-Sides, and Walking Football for the more seasoned players.
Our men’s 1st team - BSC Glasgow - plays in the 9th tier of the Scottish Football Pyramid system. Our women’s 1st team are in the SWF League 1.
Our latest milestone is finally finding a home of our own in Knightswood - Peterson Park - and we’ve already got to work there.
We’ve started Peterson Four School Project where we offer free football sessions to pupils at Bankhead, Corpus Christi, Clyde, and St Brendan’s Primaries.
If you’re more of a dancer, then join BSC Storm Dance - a cheap dance alternative that we’ve started with local teachers in Knightswood. BSC K-POP is a new weekly dance class aimed at encouraging integration with foreign students in living the City.
Or perhaps you’d like BSC Women's Recreational Netball and Football - social classes for people looking to make new friends and stay fit at the same time.
Basically, where there is enthusiasm for new sports, we see opportunity. This has led to the creation of BSC Handball , BSC Baseball, BSC Ping Pong, a hockey club called The Blue Sox, which we hope will encourage a new generation of young people looking for an alternative to football.
Our Club is anything you want it to be: it's competitive for those that want to win, it's social for those that want to make friends, and it's inclusive for those that need it. It’s a sports club that serves the community and a community that serves its sports club.
