Cat Depot’s mission is to save lives, find loving homes, and provide resources and education to improve the destiny of homeless cats. For the last 20 years, Cat Depot has served Southwest Florida touching the lives of over 100,000 cats and kittens through our rescue/disaster response, adoption, veterinary, and financial assistance programs. Our community engagement and education programs reach nearly 45,000 individuals each year. In 2023, Cat Depot found homes for 1,300+ felines, fed over 20,000 personally-owned and colony/community cats via our Community Food Bank, and treated 6,201 cats in our affordable care veterinary clinic. In addition, Cat Depot responded to several pleas for assistance regarding severe hoarding cases in neighboring counties as well as provided a safe haven and community assistance to cats in need throughout hurricane season. As a non-profit that receives no government funding, all of our funds must be raised via program fees and contributions. Assistance is always appreciated to allow us to continue our lifesaving mission.
