The Caring Closet Inc is truly a one-of-a-kind non-profit organization. It’s incredible to see how our network goes in many directions—providing a space for supervised visitations, meetings for organizations and families, and a neutral location for outreach. We have only one dedicated staff person, who manages cleaning, funding efforts, sorting donations, and handling communication. We’re also supported by a handful of wonderful volunteers who help out from time to time.

Think of us as “Home Base”—a welcoming location that agencies and programs working with families can access. Our ultimate goal is to create a comfortable, home-like setting where children feel safe and families can rebuild relationships, learn new skills, and find support.

There’s always a lot happening behind our doors—needs that must be met and stories waiting to unfold. To truly understand our work, you’ve got to walk through it.
