During the formative years of early adulthood, the typical priorities for most women involve establishing careers, nurturing relationships, cultivating new social circles, adapting to increased independence, and embarking on the journey of parenthood. However, when a young woman, 18-35 years of age, is confronted with a cancer diagnosis, all these pursuits abruptly take a backseat, and her primary concern shifts to the paramount task of survival.In 2019, Cancer Chicks was established with the purpose of addressing a notable gap in support and connections for young women between the ages of 18 and 35 who are contending with cancer.
