Bristol After Stroke provides practical and emotional support to people affected by stroke and their families in Bristol & South Glos. including - physiotherapy-led rehabilitation, psychological support and counselling, weekly and monthly support groups & cafes, Aphasia Groups. Our services are managed by a small dedicated team of specialist part-time staff supported by over forty volunteers, most of whom have stroke experience. We work in partnership and receive referrals from statutory and NHS acute services.
