Black Dog Hunting is a nonprofit (501c3) whose mission is to connect and heal Military Veterans through the sport of waterfowl hunting while providing an environment of peer-based mentoring and counseling. We do this across the country with a focus on mental health, providing once in a lifetime peer-based experiences in the outdoors

The "Black Dog" is a metaphor for Mental Health made famous by Sir Winston Churchill, and we use it in our mission of Connecting and Healing Veterans through Waterfowl, in an environment of Peer-based Mentoring and Counseling. #HeelTheBlackDog
