Australian Wildlife Society, founded in 1909, is a national not-for-profit wildlife conservation organisation. We are dedicated to the conservation of Australian wildlife (flora and fauna) through national environmental education, advocacy, and involvement of the community.
We are hoping to receive a grant to implement a project to update the garden at the front of the National Office with native Australian plants.
Planting native plants will help to attract native wildlife and pollinators on which we depend, improve biodiversity, support a healthy environment, be of benefit to the local residents, and will beautify the streetscape. Many of our plants are unique to Australia, and beautiful whether flowering or not.
