About us
Alaska Dive Search Rescue and Recovery Team (AK Dive Rescue) is a donation funded, all volunteer, unpaid, 501(c)(3) non profit public safety water rescue/dive search and recovery, team that exists to provide the Department of Public Safety (DPS) a statewide capability for search, rescue, and when necessary recover human remains or evidence from underneath the waterās surface. The team is activated by the State SAR Coordinator and can be ready to deploy for recovery missions anywhere in Alaska usually within two hours of notification.
In addition, AK Dive RSQ is dedicated to preventing water tragedies through public education about boating and water safety.
