We are a UK volunteer run charity helping stray, abandoned or unwanted Akitas.

All money raised is used directly to help Akitas in care and to further the aims of the Trust. Who already have many Akitas on the books awaiting assessment and new homes

The Trust needs your help to support its work. Akita Rescue & Welfare Trust (UK) is a charity dedicated to all aspects of the welfare of both the American and Japanese type of Akita. We not only rescue and re-home Akitas, but work to provide advice and information on many facets of ownership, including behaviour, training, diet and health.
