York Cares is a charity committed to making York a better place through raising aspirations, combatting loneliness and isolation and improving green spaces.

We enable social action in the city through three programmes of activity: Environment and Sustainability: improving green spaces in the city Social Connections: combating loneliness and social isolation; and Aspirations: raising the aspirations of children and young people by supporting them to achieve and make informed career choices. We work in partnership with over 30 member employers to deliver activity by engaging employee-volunteers in our programmes.
