We here at Whispers Ranch Safe Haven Inc take in some of the most difficult cases. We help collect donations & get horses & donkeys out of the slaughter pipeline..specifically kill pens. If after 30 days of quarantine we feel they are healthy enough to re-home then we try to find them a safe home. If we feel they are at high risk of ending up back in the slaughter pipeline then we give them sanctuary here with us. This usually includes the elderly, blind, lame or terminally ill with such things as cancer
