The mission of Safety And Health Foundation is to conduct educational events, training programs, and athletic events; to grant certificates of completion and certifications of competencies; to assemble and publish data and educational materials on safety and health practices; to assist and support worthy charities consistent with SHF's mission; and to assure that every aid station and every start/finish line at every race in the Washington DC area has at least one staffer who is certified in first aid / AED / CPR.
