WE Listen Suicide Loss Support Group

WE Listen is a compassionate, peer-led suicide loss support group providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for individuals and families impacted by suicide. The group offers understanding, connection, and hope to those navigating grief, trauma, and complex emotions following the loss of a loved one.

WE Listen recognizes that suicide bereavement is unique and often isolating. Through shared lived experience, facilitated discussion, and community connection, participants are supported to speak openly, reduce stigma, and begin healing at their own pace.

Community Health Support

Beyond suicide loss support, WE Listen is committed to strengthening community mental health and wellbeing across regional Victoria. The group promotes early intervention, social connection, and emotional resilience by:

• Providing regular face-to-face support meetings in Shepparton, Benalla , Cobram, Echuca

• Offering education and awareness around suicide prevention

• Encouraging help-seeking behaviors

• Linking participants with appropriate local services and professional supports

• Advocating for improved mental health resources in regional communities
