About us

Raymond Island Koala and Wildlife Shelter trading as Waterholes Wildlife Sanctuary is purely a not for profit voluntary run registered Wildlife Shelter. We do not get paid.  We provide a critical service for Australia's Wildlife, specialising in the rescue and rehabilitation of Koalas & Eastern Grey Kangaroos We service Raymond Island and the Mainland of East Gippsland. We rescue and rehabilitate,where possible, sick, injured, displaced and orphaned Wildlife. We rely totally on the generosity of the general public, businesses and organisations to donate and support us to be able to provide  care for Australia's iconic Koalas & Kangaroos. We need your help to cover the daily costs of running the shelter. Veterinary, Medical supplies,milk formula, hard foods,cleaning supplies ,rescue, transport costs are very expensive. Curently it costs approx $4000 a month to run the Shelter. Please vote for us  and help us care for Koalas and All Wildlife.
