Watching Over Whiskers (WOW) was founded in 2015 as a 501c3 foster home based cat rescue. WOW funds TNR (Trap Neuter Return) to help stop the over population of felines in Southwest Missouri, routine vetting for forever home placement and we also have an ER fund to assist owners with a paw up in time of need.

WOW is volunteer run and assists approximately 800 felines annually. We rely 100% on donations and community support for our food, supplies and $$$ for all vetting.  From the tiniest of newborns, to seniors, discarded and sickly, or colonies of community cats in need, we do our best to help change their life for the better while entrusted with our care.

Our annual need runs over $500,000 to provide these services to our community.
