WarHorses for Heroes is a local non-profit organization that provides equine-assisted therapy to veterans who have sustained service-related mental or physical injuries. At WarHorses for Heroes, our local veterans in need of healing learn horsemanship skills such as grooming, groundwork, and horseback riding, and through this process, they gain the tools and confidence to return to healthy, happy lives in the civilian world.
