The Mission of Uncle Dave’s Housing is to provide quality, safe, and affordable housing for men in need, with support and opportunities to help them establish a solid foundation for their second chance in life and enable them to make purposeful lives. OUR MISSION APPROACH: We follow the Housing First model which emphasizes the importance of stable housing being the foundation for the homeless to improve their quality of life. Our outstanding housing is designed to create a sense of belonging, making it feel like home rather than just another place to stay. Statistics show that when people are proud of where they live, their self-esteem and dignity are boosted, essential for a stable and better life. Our wide range of supportive services, resources, and referrals ensure that participants have equal access to all opportunities for achieving their goals and dreams. VISION Uncle Dave’s Housing envisions a world where everyone can access safe, affordable, quality housing and the necessary opportunities and resources for a meaningful and joyful life. By providing quality housing, supportive services, and resources, we can help fight homelessness and give people the tools to find housing stability and improve their lives. We know that we can not do this alone and must collaborate with other Organizations and Government Departments to impact the homeless crisis in Los Angeles, making our community a better place to live for everyone.
