Our growing list of accolades reflects the measurable difference we’re making – and the powerful community behind it all.

We are honored to be the inaugural recipient of the Regional Champion IMPACT Award from the Red Sox Foundation and Manning Family Foundation – a prestigious recognition of innovation, leadership, and lasting impact in the nonprofit world. In 2025, we were once again named IMPACT Award Finalists – and proudly went on to win First Place in Massachusetts and First Place Overall, making us Back-to-Back IMPACT Champions two years in a row.

Type One, Inc. received the Rising Star Award from the Norwell Chamber of Commerce, celebrating our rapid growth, breakthrough programs, and meaningful reach throughout New England.

Type One Fitness continues to shine as a regional leader, having been voted 1st Place Best Health Club, Runner-Up Best Personal Trainer, and Runner-Up Best Wellness Center in the 2025 Best of the South Shore Awards (BOSS) – a reflection of the trust our members place in us and our impact-driven culture. Most recently, Type One Fitness was honored with the 2025 South Shore Magazine Star of Excellence Award, recognizing businesses that deliver first-rate service and excellence 365 days a year.

National recognition came through Acquisition International’s Non-Profit Organisation Awards 2025, naming us both Health & Wellness Nonprofit of the Year – New England and recipient of the Excellence Award in Diabetes Wellness & Community Support, further validating our efforts in education, advocacy, and care.

We’ve also been featured on WCVB Channel 5’s Chronicle and NESN, spotlighting the transformative programs and inclusive culture that define Type One’s approach.
